Mari Cruz Cádiz
Directora de certificació del ICTE (Instituto para la Calidad Turística Española)

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Communication by the University of Valencia,
I am MBA in Business Administration, Diplomate in Cooperation for Development by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Diplomatic School of Madrid, and Diplomate in High International Studies by the International Studies Society.

I collaborate with different institutions, some of them international, like the European Commission (EU), the International Standardization Association (ISO) or the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), working as expert for improving competitiveness of private sector (especially SMEs) as well as intern management and strategy of public tourist organizations (local governments and public agencies related to tourism). In fact, since 2005 I have played an integral part of work teams dedicated to tourist product development, quality improvement and destination management with a private- public partnership approach, such as the Spanish Institute for Tourist Quality (depending on the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda) where I am the Technical Manager, or the Tourist Quality Working Group and the Interdestinations Committee, both conformed by the regional governments of Spain. The analysis of the feasibility of projects and improvement proposals of tourist organizations has been one of the main tasks I have had during the last years, both at international and at national level.
